BarksNpurrs Pet Spa is looking for excellent and experienced groomers for our mobile grooming service! We are seeking talented groomers to meet the needs of our high-end clients all over the Los Angeles area. The ideal person MUST be a dog LOVER! We seek reliable individuals with a positive attitude and a good work ethic.

 

We need individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and coat conditions. Patience for our furry friends is a MUST!

 

You would be working on a fully equipped with a Hanvey Mercedes Sprinter Van. We provide the van, gas, bathtub, grooming table, blow dryer, shampoos, etc.

 

We service Beverly Hills, West LA, West Hollywood, Culver City, Century City, Playa Del Rey, and more!

JOB DETAILS/REQUIREMENTS

• Dog and/or Cat grooming experience (3+ years required)

• Dog behavior management

• Must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays!

• MUST LOVE DOGS & have a gentle approach when dealing with dogs

• Must have a great attitude, be punctual and reliable

• Ability to handle dogs of all breeds and sizes

• Able to work in standing position for long periods

 

JOB DUTIES

• Properly bathing all breeds of dogs

• Perform basic cuts and specialty cuts for all dog breeds

• Blow drying using stand dryer or force dryer

• Brushing, De-matting, and De-shedding 

• Nail trims using nail clippers & file

• Ear cleaning & teeth brushing 

• Maintaining the grooming van clean and organized

• Create a comfortable, safe, and stress-free environment for the pet

• Produce a pet service that results in quality over quantity

• Following safety/emergency protocols as directed

• Communicate with the client about their wants and if it matches the pet’s needs

SALARY:

• $20-$50 per hour depending on experience!

• Plus, commission and tips!

• You get paid every week!
